33000kva nickel-iron furnace Various high temperature alloys, iron-based and nickel-based alloys
Using the chemical reaction of nickel and iron at high temperatures, nickel and iron ore are separated through a series of smelting processes.
Nickel-iron smelting usually involves the following steps:
1. Ore pretreatment: the nickel iron ore is broken, and the ore is pretreated to remove impurities and non-metallic components.
2. Ore reduction: The ore is reduced at high temperatures, usually using coke or other reducing agents to reduce nickel and iron from the ore. The chemical equation of the reaction can be expressed as NiO + FeO + C → Ni + Fe + CO.
3. Smelting: The reduced nickel and iron and other additives (such as limestone, coke, etc.) are put into a high-temperature furnace for melting. In the smelting process, nickel and iron are gradually separated to form nickel-iron alloys and iron slag.
4. Separation: by physical or chemical methods, the nickel-iron alloy and iron slag are separated. Common separation methods include magnetic separation, flotation, gravity separation and so on.
5. Refining: The obtained nickel-iron alloy is refined to remove impurities and impure substances and improve the purity of nickel-iron alloy.
6. Metallurgical processing: the refined nickel-iron alloy is processed into the required nickel-iron products.
In general, the principle of nickel-iron smelting is through the reduction reaction and smelting process, the nickel and iron are extracted from the ore, and separated into nickel-iron alloy and iron slag, and then the nickel-iron alloy is refined and metallurgical processing, to get the required product.
