Overview:
Calcium aluminate is a series of inorganic compounds made from calcium oxide and alumina sintered at high temperatures due to its hardness
The physical properties of large and high melting point are used in cement and fire extinguishing materials. Common formula mCaO·nAl₂ O₃,
Abbreviated as CmAn (do not need to write when m and n are 1).
Characteristics of fused calcium aluminate:
1. No moisture absorption, no powder, no deterioration during storage and transportation;
2.low melting point (1380℃), slag viscosity is small, good flow, slag time is short, can shorten the smelting time

3. slag sulfur capacity is large, has a good desulfurization, deoxidation, dephosphorization effect, and can effectively adsorb steel

Mechanical structure description:
The electric arc furnace is in the form of top loading and discharging groove discharging, and its mechanical part is composed of the following parts.

Structural characteristics
Electrode system: Using specially designed DC electrodes with good conductivity and high temperature resistance, it can stably introduce DC current into the furnace and provide energy for electric slag heating.
Furnace structure: usually composed of an outer shell welded from steel plates and an internal refractory lining. The refractory lining can withstand high temperatures and erosion from slag, protect the furnace shell, and reduce heat loss.
Electric slag system: including an electric slag addition device and a circulation system. As a heating and reaction medium, the composition and properties of electric slag have a significant impact on the smelting process and product quality. The circulation system can ensure the uniformity and stability of electric slag, and improve the smelting effect.
Control system: Equipped with advanced electrical control system, it can accurately control the magnitude of DC current, voltage, and electrode rise and fall, achieve precise control of parameters such as furnace temperature and smelting time, and ensure the stability of the production process and consistency of product quality.
